For Bouygues Telecom’s “Fini les prises de tête” campaign, we brought our Welterweight motion control robot on set for a fast and flexible Multi-pass workflow.

Its Freedrive mode allowed our Dop, Mélodie Preel, to frame shots directly by hand, sometimes quickly adjusting start or end position multiple times without adding any delay.

As a result of this quick and intuitive setup the camera stayed on the robot for around 90% of the day, even for shot where the robot was fundamentally not needed, saving a lot of time in setup.

Most of our work involved multi-pass moves, with some shots requiring up to 6 or 7 passes, alongside simpler non-repeated mouvement.
